This year for the first time, we were part of the IKOM (“industrial contact fair Munich”) at the TUM university campus in Garching. On Wednesday, 21st June 2017 between 09:30 and 16:30 hours, we had the possibility to perform convincingly and to give inspiration to interested students of informatics and mathematics. We brought a mixed team of different employees: Patrick Bui – our new working student, Daniel Bernhard – one of our trainees, Ilja Frank – our experienced colleague, and Anna Pfennig from the HR department. Thanks to our great enthusiasm, the eye-catching pug on the company banner and the inviting ‘Fips’-gaming machine, we were always surrounded by interested trade visitors at our fair stand. We provided information about the core business of Faktor Zehn, die importance of our company culture and different entry-possibilities. Besides the Trainee-program, the direct entry as junior developer and internships, most of the students were interested in the working student jobs. Already on-site we have been complimented for the casual atmosphere in our small team which made us very happy. All in all, we estimate around 120 visitors at our stand. We hope that our efforts bear fruit and we will receive a few positive and promising responses…now that the ice has been broken (right, Daniel? J).
