Faktor Zehn is one of Germany’s best employers for the first time – this was the result of the independent research and consulting institute Great Place to Work.
In total, we have been honored three times in the size category 50 to 250 employees: nationwide with 2nd place, in Bavaria with 2nd place and as an employer in the digital industry with 2nd place.
“The award is a great honor for us and we are very pleased to have been awarded the seal of approval for the first time,” says Managing Director Jörg Renger. “We owe our success to our employees. Through our open and honest cooperation and our innovative strength, in which everyone contributes individually with their personal strengths, we have created something very special together. We can all be proud of that.”
In the foreground: the opinion of our employees
The basis for the evaluation was an anonymous survey of Faktor Zehn employees under the motto “Stronger together. Your opinion. For our future. Topics such as leadership, trust, recognition, identification, team spirit, development, compensation and work-life balance were evaluated. In addition, the People & Culture team was asked what measures and programs had been set up to create an attractive workplace culture. The institute weighted the results 3:1 – meaning that the employees’ opinions were paramount.
Factor Ten achieved outstanding results in the areas of credibility, pride and team spirit, among others:
100 percent of the managers trust in the good work of the employees without constantly controlling them.
100 percent of employees enjoy coming to work.
100 percent would recommend Factor Ten to their friends and families as a very good employer.
100 percent of new employees feel welcome.
The nationwide competition for the “Great Place to Work” award has been running since 2002, and this year 684 companies took part in the “Germany’s Best Employers” category. “The award stands for credible management that works fairly and respectfully with employees, for a high level of employee identification and for a strong team spirit within the company,” said Andreas Schubert, Managing Director at Great Place to Work Germany, at the virtual awards ceremony yesterday.
The key: our corporate culture
Factor Ten’s management appreciates the annual assessment as a feedback tool. “The values and principles that are decisive for our daily actions are set out in our corporate mission statement. Our long-term success in the market and also our low fluctuation show the stability and perspective of our corporate culture. For us, the Great Place to Work award is both confirmation and an incentive to continue on this path continuously,” emphasized Managing Director and founding member Florian Schwandt.
