We are proud to announce that the Faktor Zehn was awarded as JavaLand Hero.
JavaLand is the annual two-day conference where the Java community comes together to explore the latest technologies and approaches to modern software development in the Java ecosystem. This year it could unfortunately not take place as planned due to the pandemic.
To allow next year’s event to take place as usual, the organizers of JavaLand have asked the holders of this year’s tickets to waive some or all of their refund. Since some of our employees are big fans of the JavaLand events and visit them regularly (take a look here and here), we wanted to support the organizers.
We decided to support the organizers with a part of the ticket price we paid so that JavaLand can continue to take place in the next years.
All supporters have now been highlighted on a Hall of Fame – and the factor ten can also be found on it.
We are happy that we could help the organizers to let this event take place in the next years as well. And of course we are also looking forward to the next JavaLand in 2021, which hopefully can take place as planned.
