IFA is Austria’s biggest strategy forum in insurance industry and was taking place on 23rd and 24th of March in Rust. Current trends and topics impacting the insurance business were discussed with a group of experts. One of these experts was Martin Hinz. He did a very interesting presentation about “Optimizing customer satisfaction by using and controlling digital transformation”.
Content of the presentation was how the impact of customer journey is already helping companies to transform processes into the digital age (insurance 2.0). Clickfox, a CJA specialized software company from US, created tools and services to combine and visualize journey data which is already “somewhere” in the company.
To truly understand customer behavior, Insurers must build a horizontal view of their business. This is an outside-in view of how customers interact with their business. To view and analyze this data, insurers need to understand their customer journeys.
